MATTS IN THE CAGE

Well it's finally gonna happen, after years of bad blood and extreme dislike towards each other, the two Matts are set to square off against each other. Matt Hughes and Matt Serra will meet at UFC 98 May 23 in a fight that was supposed to happen in 2007. Serra was unable to fight due to an injury so Georges St.Pierre stepped in and wiped the floor with Chipmunk Hughes.

Being a huge GSP fan I extremely dislike both Matts so I find it hard to root for one of them. However, it is a fight a long time in the making and it should be a good one and after a lot of thought I have decided to back Serra for the victory. Now that doesn't mean I think Serra will win, just that I hate Hughes a little bit more than I hate Serra.

Regardless of the outcome, Matt Hughes will end up in the hall as one of the greatest fighters of all time, and Serra will forever be the TUF 4 winner and the holder of one of the greatest MMA upsets of all time. I just hope this long awaited fight lives up to the hype.
